Billing lifecycle

Cancellation and lapse

• Default cancellation is at period end.
• Payment failures move tenant status to past_due.
• Terminal lapse or cancellation triggers export-by-email and 30-day retention.

Backups

• Nightly backup scheduler is scaffolded in the provisioning service.
• Backups are intended for encrypted storage in S3 with retention policies.
• Full restore workflow is scheduled for next implementation phase.
